Bharat’s AI & Drone Expo

Chandigarh Group of Colleges organized Bharat’s AI & Drone Expo on September 20-21, 2024 at Chandigarh, Punjab. Zebyte was a proud title sponsor of Bharat's AI & Drone Expo. The event drew AI and drone technology professionals, students, and faculty for panel discussions, a podcast with sharks, workshops & training, networking sessions, keynote presentations, and AI & Drone exhibitions. Zebyte's stall at the AI and Drone Exhibition saw great footfall, with notable visitors like Ashneer Grover of Shark Tank fame. This allowed us to showcase Zebyte's role in the AI era. Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Founder & Director of Zebyte Cloud, participated as a panelist alongside esteemed experts like Prof (Dr)Indu Pal Kaur, DPIIT-IPR Chair, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Mr. Sahil Makkar CEO of Punjab Angels Network, Mr. Parimal Khade, Coordinator at CoE-IP, Pune, and Prof. Dr. Saurabh Sharma, Director Principal CCP.

At the panel discussion, Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Founder & Director of Zebyte Cloud, delivered an insightful talk on the critical role of intellectual property (IP) protection in the fast-growing world of Artificial Intelligence. He highlighted that as AI technologies evolve, the risk of unauthorized use, replication, or alteration of innovative solutions becomes increasingly prevalent. Mr. Kumar emphasized the urgent need for businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators to understand the value of securing their AI-driven innovations through proper IP registration.
He explained that safeguarding intellectual property was not only, about legal protection, but also about ensuring the long-term viability and commercial potential of AI solutions. By protecting their innovations, companies can maintain a competitive edge and prevent third parties from exploiting their ideas. He gave a clear message that in the age of AI, one needs to be proactive to protect intellectual property to foster innovation while ensuring ethical AI practices to secure the future of tech-driven enterprises.
